Xavier Receives an NSERC PhD Scholarship
Congratulations to Xavier Isabel, PhD student in our lab, who has been awarded an NSERC PhD scholarship! This well-deserved recognition highlights the quality of his research work. We are very proud of him!
New Paper Published in Biophotonics Discovery
Congratulations to Valérie and Justine on their new publication in Biophotonics Discovery! Their work presents a novel pipeline combining spectral-focusing CARS microscopy with deep learning segmentation to measure white matter ultrastructure in postmortem human brain tissue — providing the first estimates of axon diameter, myelin thickness, and g-ratio in the human uncinate fasciculus.
Visit to the LUMEDLAB
We had the pleasure of spending the day with Frédéric Leblond's team at the LUMEDLAB, based at CHUM. We exchanged ideas and shared our respective projects in Raman spectroscopy — a great opportunity to strengthen our collaboration and explore new synergies.

Our Group Project Is Now Published!
From fieldwork to the front page! The group developed a custom instrument to study shrub-snow interactions in the Arctic, tested it at Forêt Montmorency, and has now successfully published the results.
