Our two interns Justine and Benjamin were given the mandate during the summer to design a hyperspectral Raman microscope. Their hard work paid off and they successfully acquired their first image of a sample today!
Not only did they work on the design of the optical system of the microscope, but they also programmed the entire spectral data acquisition and the automatic movement of the microscope stage in Python. As you can see on the computer in the image above, they also designed a user-friendly graphical user interface to easily use the microscope and acquire images.
Congratulations to our excellent trainees for their progress, stay tuned to discover soon the work of our third trainee Émile!
